Have you travelled outside Canada in the last three months?
NOTE: Donors who are temporarily deferred from donating blood due to their recent travel history outside of Canada or a malaria exposure risk may be eligible to donate plasma.

Have you spent three months or longer in the United Kingdom or France from 1980 to 1996? Six months or longer in Saudi Arabia from 1980 to 1996? Five years or longer in Western Europe from 1980 to 2007?

Are you taking prescription medication(s)?

Taking most prescription medications does not usually prevent you from donating. If you are taking any, check the acceptable medications list first.
